Malacca Trip 2009 - Food

Went to Malacca on Friday, 9th October 2009

Here are some photos (may not look good as the width in this forum Razz )

First stop after reached Malacca - lunch. Chung Wah Hainanese Chicken Rice Ball

#2 - the rice ball is soft, much better compared to shops that I tasted in klang valley



Then checked in at hotel (that would be another thread :mrgreen: )
Then jalan jalan
and reached Bibik House Cendol for Nyonya Cendol
Something of a difference as they use Gula Melaka

#4 - After mixing it up (right photo)



Then jalan-jalan, shoot buildings, landscape....
Went back to rest
Dinner, drove to Malacca Raya for Nyonya Food at Makko Nyonya Restaurant

Dunno what to buy... so bought something not Malacca food Laughing

After walk walk, tired.... stop for some nyonya food before heading back to hotel.
Here is at the Jonker 88 Desert Shop
#15 - Nyonya Cendol



#16 - Top is Baba Laksa while bottom is Nyonya Asam Laksa. That spoonful is Tuna



#17 - MINE... yum... very tasty, much better to my liking compared to Penang Curry Laksa (personal preference)


And that is all
Next day no food because hotel comes with breakfast
Walk walk... then went back home

first time try, nyonya cendol is nice
second time, feel like too sweet already
3rd time... didn't even want to think about it Laughing

but in between first and second time, I ate normal mamak cendol in front of the red buildings at the main road, felt a kinda of relief Razz
